Tigat KG, Primary and secondary school is a privately owned school founded by Mr.Jembere Taffa who was formerly a teacher qualified with M.A degree in Educational Administration. He has both the academic qualification and the experience to run a private school that can favourably compete with other leading private schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The school was started in a house built in 1934E.C. with 7 staff members and registering 70 students with a monthly school fee of 50birr. By now it’s delivering quality education for about 2000 students in 6 campuses. Out of which 3 of them belongs to the owner. Since 2004 G.C. (time of establishment), the school has a consecutive track records in winning different competitions held at woreda, sub-city and even at city administration level. It always strives to meet the national standards and in fact has received green licences in all its campuses from gov’t regulatory agencies and quality assurance authorities. we have good history and reputations in sending many of our students to the University of AAU and even abroad. supportive and thoughtfully prepared environment.
